"As an impressionable young lad I was introduced to Wendy O Williams up late watching the classic comedy TV show Friday’s in the early 1980's. The Plasmatics played live as the musical guest fronted by Wendy screaming in her fervent vocal style, blowing up cars, chain sawing guitars in half, and smashing TVs with a sledgehammer, expressing her disdain for consumerism and capitalism. I’d never seen anything like it before. She was the first to cross over punk and metal infused thrash music. Later in life I had the privilege of screen printing licensed Wendy O Williams and The Plasmatics merch years after the bands demise. Wendy O Metal Priestess Forever!" - Dave Glass
